What is a dental implant?

Implants are a solution for missing teeth. When space is created by a missing tooth, it allows surrounding teeth to move, which may lead to further tooth loss. An implant is affixed to the jaw bone to mimic a tooth and tooth root, keeping the surrounding teeth in line, and restoring function.

All-on-4 Dentures

Generally, up to 4 implants are placed and used to secure a denture. You will get the look and function of a full arch of teeth without the need to replace every missing tooth with an implant. You can brush the denture just like natural teeth, and have it cleaned twice a year by your dental professional.

Removable Implant Dentures

Like the all-on-4, removable implant dentures are placed on up to 4 implants that are used to secure the denture. You will get the look and function of a full arch of teeth without the need to replace every missing tooth with an implant. However, you can remove these dentures at your convenience. We recommend having your denture cleaned twice a year by your dental professional.

Why might you need an implant?

  • Replacing single or multiple missing teeth
  • Stabilizing or eliminating a full or partial removable denture
  • Restoring chewing function
  • Restoring smile aesthetics
  • Maintaining facial shape
